It's no secret that the ladies of Beverly Hills love to shop... Kyle Richards even opened her own store in The Hills, Kyle By Alene Too!
The episode starts off with Kyle meeting Adrienne at popular ( if you have money; cut to a 331.00 dollar price tag ) kids store, Glen Kids, to help Adrienne pick out a present for Portia's upcoming fourth birthday. Per usual, the conversation turns to Lisa and Adrienne's on going saga : La Maloof accusing Lisa of selling stories to Radar Online at the reunion prompting a battle to ensue. Adrienne believes Lisa's recent behavior to be " immature" and knows that Lisa requires a formal apology to move on. Kyle doesn't think that Lisa owes her one in return and makes it a point to let Adrienne know that Lisa is highly sensitive, more so than the other ladies.Kyle also confides in her interview that she thinks Adrienne went too far. La Maloof can't understand why after all these years of being a friend to Lisa that she can not just move on. Probably because there is more to this story than meets the eye which we will find out about as the drama unfolds.
Next up we are at Taylor's house for a Spanish/Mexican " Spanishcana " ( Taylor wasn't sure what to call it) dinner with Kyle, Mauricio, Adrienne, and Paul. During the dinner Taylor ( awkwardly) asks the husbands to participate in a mile walk for charity, A Step In The Right Direction, to support the fight against domestic violence . Taylor wrote a book on this subject and is a domestic abuse survivor and she tells them this is her life's mission. They agree, reluctantly at first, after finding out that the walk has to be done in high heels. The girls couldn't be happier and would love to teach the guys a lesson about " walking a mile in their shoes". Kyle is unsure at first , because it is the same day as Portia's birthday party, but after deliberating, she generously allows the party to be delayed a few hours for the chance to see the guys hoofing it down the road in stilettos.

Now it's time for Paul to find a pair of shoes so Adrienne takes him shoe shopping only to find that walking in heels isn't so difficult for Paul as she thought it would be. The scene makes for great fodder and for once we are enjoying them and they are not "needling " each other in their usual fashion. Paul decides on a pair of "Kiss inspired" moon boots and enlists La Maloof to buy the same pair to rally for him on the side lines. He also buys a pair of " Dorothy Ruby Slippers" to wear... using the moon boots as back up which I think was him being a good sport for a good cause. Paul does have nice legs...Adrienne you are right!

Yolanda is the mother to the beautiful model, GiGi Hadid , who she had with her ex husband ( and Lisa's friend) Mohamed Hadid .GiGi is truly gorgeous and has been modeling since she was a child. She can be seen as a Guess Campaign model and her star is quickly rising. While on a photo shoot, Yolanda pays her a visit for "mental support" as she wished she had some when she was in the business.Telling us in her interview that she doesn't want to be overbearing or a stage mom... she comes across as exactly that. At several points GiGi seems annoyed...especially when Yolanda reminds her to stick to her diet because they like girls extra skinny in Europe. She also reminds the make-up artist to apply more make up to her daughters eyes to round them out so that they do not appear "Chinese" ( direct quote). It is apparent that Yolanda loves her daughter ( and all her children) however I feel she needs to remember that this is GiGi's turn in the spotlight and let GiGi do her thing... learning as she once had too.

Kyle, being ever the perfectionist, and hands on Mom that she is, does not make the charity race as she has Portia's birthday party to attend to.She gives Mauricio her blessing and he flies to Sacramento with the gang to make the race only to turn around and fly right back for his daughter's party. Kyle warns that he better not be late getting back in her usual snarky style. Kyle's is known for throwing quite the soiree, even if this time it is only for a child's birthday party. The theme of this particular party is a carnival...complete with rides, a petting zoo ( unicorns), games , and I even saw silk screening for T shirts.
Portia is adorable and becoming quite the scene stealer...look out ladies!

Tensions are high among certain Housewives and the webs start to weave.Don't forget we still have a whole season to go! There is Brandi who isn't on good terms with Taylor, Dana, or Kim who were all attending. Then we have Lisa who tells Kyle that she must leave early ( which Kyle speculates is to avoid Adrienne) due to a " wine event" at Villa Blanca. At least she came and brought a gift and made an effort. Kyle proposes a dinner at her house the following week so that frenemies Lisa and Adrienne can sit down on
" Neutral Ground" to finally talk. Lisa's tells her thanks, but bloody no thanks, and not to get involved...noting that Kyle's intentions were good.
Cut to Brandi who feels very anxious in her Lolita red heart shaped sunglasses. She states that she wants to avoid drama at all costs, especially at a children's birthday. Kyle of all people tries and reassure her and we are happy to see that these two have seemingly mended fences, even Kyle herself seems relieved.
Thankfully Camille is still on the show... even if it's not as an "Official Housewife". We also see the return of her side kick ( and friend) Dee Dee, along with the beautiful Faye Resnick, Kyle's level headed friend.

Meanwhile back at the charity race...Paul and Mauricio are doing their best walking a mile in the heels ...it makes for a cute scene as they hobble towards to the finish line.

Back at Portia's party, when the race is over , Kim Richards shows up to Kyle's surprise ( two for Kim ) even if her clan is not in tow. Kim gives her sister a hug and Kyle thanks her. Kim says once again in her interview that she doesn't know if the two of them will ever be the same again after everything that has happened last season. Yolanda can not make the party due to a prior engagement and sends a giant stuffed bear in her absence... which I guess is better then La Maloof's flower FU to Lisa last week at Villa Blanca.
After the race... Taylor, Adrienne , and the husbands return in time for the party. Taylor gives Brandi a decided cold shoulder because she is still angry. Brandi decides to leave the party , even though Kyle and Camille try and talk her out of it and tell her to not worry about it . Taylor seizes the opportunity to bad mouth Brandi to anyone that will listen, even with a little kid present. She even tries to rope Kyle in ...which back fires because Kyle was not having any part of the nonsense.
In conclusion ...the episode was light, fun, and mostly drama free because the season is just starting ...with that being said the crazy is just beginning so make sure that you fasten your seat belts guys and dolls...it's gonna be a bumpy ride and that's the way I see it Xx Billy
