Is it my imagination, or just my perception, that talk show hosts lately are seemingly trying to create buzz around themselves and their show for ratings more so than before? I mean at least when that happened, for example, during Rosie O'Donnell's time on The View it was unscripted, not planned out, and it came across as real. I feel like every talk show host that has interviewed Teresa Giudice lately has an aggressive, almost argumentative line of questioning , instead of just treating her like a guest and asking her how she feels...What happened to the fun? If I wanted court room theatrics I would watch Law and Order SVU.

Teresa is not a dictator of some war torn third world country ...she is a celebrity in her own right with a "reality" television show ( which I think these hosts know nothing about beforehand) , an author, and has a product line. I can see getting into the drama, I know how 'the machine" works, but what happened to the fun? Must Teresa Giudice always have to be on the defense or for once can we see her laughing and cutting it up with one of these talk show hosts? How about Tre even cooking a great meal with a host? I mean she has 3 New York Times Best Selling cookbooks for crying out loud!!!

OMG! I so agree with you! Teresa should wear a suit of armor when she goes on these shows; so she can fend off all the rocks they throw at her!!

ReplyDeleteI don't like when anyone conducting an interview becomes judge and & jury and has an obvious bias. If you are going to interview...ask and let the person answer.

ReplyDeleteAgree's and more so, talk about the products a little more and what they are doing now, not something over a year old. All these woman are jumping on the same shows only for more, she said she said. Old news, focus on the positive!!
ReplyDeleteI was very surprised that Wendy Williams was kinda harsh with Tre on her show today! I thought Wendy would have seen through all the BS. I didnt see her show the day Melissa Gorga was on, but Im sure Melissa acted like the perfect angel. Why cant people see how Melissa lies about everything? Maybe next year, on RHONJ, the tables will be turned and Melissa lies will be exposed! I hope so!
