obviously a childish word for penis, derived from the Farsi language. as English we have the word 'pee pee' or 'shot gun handle' Farsi has the child word for penis, which is doodool
Shahs of Sunset on Bravo TV introduced us last night to " Doodool Tala" , or in translation from Farsi to English, " Golden Penis" amongst other things!
The episode centered around a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with everyone in attendance accept a dis-invited GG. Who everyone agreed ( after a Shahs " family" meeting did not deserve to go after the way she had been acting...basically a loose cannon with an anger management problem.
Even Sammy Younai finally got his screen time with his friends which always makes for good TV.
Wow! The crew on Shahs really know how to let loose and have a great time! As wild as they like to get ... they still are able to maintain their strong work ethic, well except in GG's case, because I really haven't seen her do anything pertaining to work thus far...but with the hair extensions launch party , maybe that will change?, we shall see...stay tuned.
Amidst the party extravaganza to Cabo, set up by resident Shah hunk Mike Shouhed, there was drama ... but not from where you expected it ...which was between long time friends Mercedes Javid and Asa Soltan. I bet GG was glad she didn't go on the trip after watching the dinner footage...Can't we just all eat and get along yall?!
Newest Shah, friend of Reza's and " acquaintance" of Mercedes, Lilly Ghalichi, seemed above it all ( being in Cabo) then admitted that she was having fun as the show progressed...not too much there in my opinion to discuss.
Mercedes had a little to much to drink, even for Mexico, and became irate after the group did not give her feelings the attention they deserved. She also, in my opinion, misconstrued some comments, and that is easily done when anyone has been drinking, haven't we all been there? We were sure after watching the episode teaser that this was going to be a Lilly Vs Mercedes showdown. However is was words exchanged by Mercedes and Asa that had us in shock. They went back and forth and ultimately, after a very calm and centered Asa was tired of being berated, she called Mercedes a "pill popper' and then shit really got poppin' lol
There was nothing but drama after that and Asa's apology to Mercedes fell uopn deaf ears.
Reza Farahan, who likes to have a good time and is no stranger to controversy himself, said it best... that he just wants all of his friends to get along! I agree but this is not always the case when someone has a close bond with woman, gay man or not, and another woman comes along. Been there myself sadly. Eventually one has to go or the two will have to bond on the highest of levels for the friendship to work cohesively and not as a competition. Overall the show was entertaining and the scene with a wasted, but always endearing, Mike Shouhed in his hotel room was genuine and hilarious ( sorry Mike at least your Doodool Tala got props from Mercedes ). I can't wait to see what next week will bring and look forward to how this issue is going to be resolved adding another layer on to the fabulous onion, so to speak, that we call " The Shahs of Sunset" and That's The Way I see It!
