Harvin and Meyer Eadon of Big Rich Atlanta Don't Mind If You Blame Them!

Harvin and Meyer Eadon From Big Rich Atlanta On The Style Network
When I first discovered Big Rich Atlanta on The Style Network I have to admit I was a bit skeptical.
As a long time viewer of  Bravo TV,  and also being a  fan of  The Real Housewives of Atlanta,  I was thinking what could another reality show about rich women in Atlanta possibly have to offer? How wrong I was! After watching the first episode I instantly became hooked! The show has everything from a great cast to great story lines that are interesting to follow! Aside from all the glamour... I was really captivated by Big  Rich Atlanta mainly for two reasons..." The Dynamic Duo"... Sisters Harvin and Meyer Eadon.
The Eadon sisters are making their debut in reality television and leaving their mark on the world with their special brand of style, drama, humor , and good old fashion fun that keeps us coming back for more! The sister's   close knit relationship is also endearing to watch as are  all their crazy antics!
Harvin and Meyer are using the vehicle of reality television as a platform,  like any smart business women would, and have launched a line of jewelry called She Blames Me! But don't be fooled, this is not your typical artifice...there is more to the sister's jewelry than meets the eye. There is a empowering underlying message...despite what your critics may  have to say, the only opinion that matters should be your own ! Believing in yourself when no one else does is what keeps driving these ladies to achieve what everyone else felt was impossible for them to. They are not mad at their haters... they are celebrating them and reminding us that life is what you make it!  I was blessed to have the chance to talk with the Eadon sisters and below is what I found out from them!

BC: Harvin and Meyer are unique and beautiful names is there a story behind them?

HE: Meyer and I were both named after our grandmothers’ maiden names. Meyer has our maternal grandmother’s maiden name and I was named after my paternal grandmother’s maiden name. It’s an honorable southern tradition to keep “family names in the family. I’m starting to think we are going to run fresh out of family names by the time Meyer and I have kids of our own. Speaking of names, Meyer and I are together so much that people started calling us Marvin or H&M for short.
We call our mom Goose, Meyer and I call each other “Bud” and rarely use each other’s real names. A habit that stuck like glue.

Time Machine... The  Eadon Sisters as children

BC: Where did you ladies grow up and what was your childhood like?

HEFrom birth to late middle school we grew up in Manning, S.C. Manning is a very small town. There was no movie theatre or shopping mall, just the Piggly Wiggly, Walmart and Jerry’s Truck Stop. We lived next to two large open fields and two big ponds. Behind our house there was a small farm of animals and bail after bail of haystacks. We picked up every stray animal imaginable so we had about 22 cats, 8 dogs, 2 bunny rabbits and 1 horse that roamed the yard and fields. Between all the animals, the forts we built, and the neighborhood gang… we felt like we ran a small kingdom and loved every last second of it!

BC: What were your parents like?

HE: Our mom and dad would let us dress up however we wanted to no matter where we were going. Dad would really let us paint our faces, safety pin moms old clothes to our little bodies, carry fairy wands and over sized Mary Poppins purses that contained nothing practical whatsoever, just random toys from the house, and allow us to run errands or go anywhere with him like that. He even bought us a real cash register when we were little so we could take all the items from the pantry and run them down the tread mill conveyor belt to pretend checkout counter while successfully selling all moms real groceries to our friends for plastic coins and paper dollars

BC: It sounds like you all had a lot of creative freedom which I think helps people grow into more well rounded adults...

HE: I agree! Mom tried really hard to tidy us up as much as she could and make us presentable for places like church and school, but the second we got to cut loose… we were wild haired, barefooted kiddos in t-shirts and panties. That is, until we were inspired to create our next magical character via random clothes, tutus, and a pack of markers. We liked to write on ourselves a lot. ( laughs).

ME: Our dad would tell us the most fascinating stories and create these “ghost rides” where we would gather up our neighborhood friends and go for a drive to the cemetery. He wwould slowly pull up into the cemetery and would do something like slam on breaks and say, “Did you see that? Oh my gosh! I’ve got to check it out!” Then he would put the car in park and take the keys and wander somewhere behind the car, but not before pushing play on a recorder he hidunderneath his seat that made ghostly noises. All 8 of us in the car were squirming and screaming. Our oldest brother would be dressed up with an over sized sheet hiding behind different gravestones and lurking about. Dad would then suddenly run up to the car, slingopen the door in a “panicked” rush and jump in and take off! All while acting like he was in a panic to get out of there, “oh no we have got to get out of here right now and go to the police!” Mind you, this is a very small town so he had already set it up with his friends at the “jailhouse” to play along. We piled out of the car and stormed through the doors of the jailhouse and “reported” what we witnessed at the cemetery.

BC: That sounds like so much fun!

HE: Oh my God! It was so fun and the coolest thing that ever went down in our neighborhood! We looked forward to these ghost rides. A few kids never came back to spend the night with us, but the majority of them could not get enough of our wizardly playground!

MEOh and did I mention that these “ghosts” all had names, because they did. My favorite ghosts were Horsey Briles, the Orange Slice Troll, and No Head Dead.

BC: I love that !

HE: As you can see, we loved telling ourselves even at a young age that we could be anything that we wanted to be and both of our parents allowed us to believe that. Our dad made everything fun and our mom nursed us and nurtured us through everything we did. We didn’t have tons of money, but we didn’t even notice. We were happy creating and pretending to be whatever we wanted to be, just by using the things we had.

ME: Our wealth was in our love for each other as a family and def not in our pocketbooks. Our parents did not come into money until much later in our lives.

Harvin Eadon,  Mother Virginia , and Meyer Eadon

BC: How did you all end up on Big Rich Atlanta?

ME: It literally fell right into our laps. Well, actually my voicemail that I did not check for a good two weeks.

HE: Yea, when a casting crew touched down in the ATL we were recommendation given to them by someone. They attempted to call Meyer (first mistake) and then left her a voicemail (biggest mistake).

ME: Once I finally checked it, we called them back and a string of interviews were set into motion via phone calls, Skype, and in person.

BC: How did your mother, Virginia Kolb, feel about all this?

HE: Mom decided that she was cool with the idea, nervous, but up for the possible adventure of reality television. After the numerous interviews,we just waited to hear back.

ME: A couple of months later we received a phone call congratulating us for being chosen as cast members of the Style Network show Big Rich Atlanta. We were all together (me, Harvand Goose) when we got the call so we bust into giggles and a whole bunch of oh my gosh’sfelt a pang of anticipation and nervousness, but mostly just very much excited!

BC: Very exciting! How could you even begin to prepare for that?

HE: We did not have a clue as to what to expect when filming a reality television show. We knew it was going to be our first rodeo and there was no telling what would come out of it, but we crossed our fingers and just hoped that we would like ourselves in the television as much as we did in real life. You never can be sure ya know ( laughs).

BC: Was the experience of being on Reality Television what you thought it would be after you saw the show air or during filming?

HE: During filming it was more than we expected! There were so many crew members and it was such organized chaos. It blew our minds. I was fascinated with how they functioned as theselarge team machines. It was amazing! They became like family and then furniture with a camera. When they had their cameras off their shoulders we would all be smiling or laughing and even though you do not talk to the cameramen directly that much, we all had this unexplainable bond. They knew us and we became to get so used to them being around. It was like they were living furniture. You knew they were there but you completely forgot about them. They moved when we moved but it was almost no different than getting used to new wallpaper. Every time you walk in the door for the first several days you notice it immediately and then after that it just blends in and becomes the norm. We loved the production crew. We had the blues when we wrapped and they left. The producers were amazing in every way. We felt very comfortable talking to them and even arguing with them every once in a while ( laughs) . We felt closer to them than a lot of people in our lives because they were literally IN OUR LIVES.

BC: Was it weird when the camera crew was done filming?

ME: Yea, we were depressed when they left. I really miss the crafty box of snacks they always had and just the sense that your life is filled with people in it all the time and we got used to that.

HE: Once they left it was sooooo quiet. We liked itso much better when there was tons going onand we couldn’t even think straight. Somehow we find comfort in chaos and loved the non-stop interaction we had with them and our cast members. It was a sense of camaraderie and we enjoyed that.

ME: There were some amazing people that we really got close to. We still miss them. We would even notice if one cameraman or lighting crew member changed for a particular day. That’s how in tune you become with the “family” that posts up around you for months at a time.

HE: Don’t get it twisted though...when we knew we did something like so incredibly embarrassing and it all got caught on tape… we envisioned swan diving the cameraman!

BC: Anything fun that you are willing to share?

HE: ( laughs)  Like this one time when I couldn’t hold it any longer, I had to tt (I hate the word pee) behind a bush and cameraman was riiiiigggghhhhtttt there!!!

ME: Bud was ridic that night. She had tooooooo much champagne!!!

HE: Well I had to go, I couldn’t hold it for another second. When you gotta go, you gotta go, damn.

ME: Well thank God they cut that out of the episode!

HE: Oh shut up Meyer, like you haven’t done worse.

BC: Do I have to play referee? ( both laugh)

ME: It is interesting to see all the quirks about yourself when watching it back on television. Like we make the craziest faces ever sometimes. Some of them do not look hot at all. ( laughing)  It was also interesting to see which pieces of filming were not included or how something that lasted two hours in filming time could be summed up and captured in 3-5 minutes playback time. Sometimes we were like, thank God they did not use that part because I said something really stupid and other times we would be like ugh, why didn’t they keep that part because I felt pretty and cool when I said that or did that  ( laughing) Just typical general stuff likethat.

HE: Overall, they pretty much captured who we really are without a doubt. Yes, things are edited so they keep certain parts and not others, but ALL of the things were done whether they made the cut for television or not. It becomes an exaggerated version of yourself because its like a highlight reel of all the things that went down over a matter of months and then wrapped up into several one hour episodes.

Time for a personal assistant ladies!

BC: In what ways has it changed your lives?

HE: Well, mom won’t let me wear my bathrobe out in public as much.

ME: Bud that’s because that robe is disgusting and you know it. We hide it from you every week and you find it or buy another one. Gross.

BC: You both crack me up ! ( all laugh)

HE: Other than that, we have to keep ourselves up more often (grooming and all) because we do not want to have zit cream on our faces and have to snap a pic with a fan at the grocery store and stuff like that.

BC: How are you adjusting to your new found fame?

HE: We love the people that love the show, who love She Blames Me (our business), and love us. We make sure that we personally respond back to all of them as much as humanly possible. Even if it means spending over four hours a day and really late nights getting back to as many of them as we can. They are really important to us and we do not take any of them for granted. The support we have received has been magical, encouraging and super exciting. We love these people. We so often refer to them as friends instead of fans.

ME: We take pictures with people all of the time and its really flattering to be honest.

BC: It sounds like you both are very grateful and down to earth!

HE: It has also been a humbling experience. For all of these people to take interest in our lives and to join in our passion for the fashion brand, lifestyle and perspective of She Blames Me creates a feeling that even words would not do justice. It’s just that freaking astounding and staggering!

ME: We spend tons of time doing interviews, working on She Blames Me, responding to people wanting to connect with us, attending various events, and managing to design as much as possible throughout it all.

BC: After watching the show was there any thing that you regretted and if so what?
HE: Ripping my eyelashes off at Darryl’s Fall Fashion Preview party. Also, I regretted doing the art show at the time, but not as much now. After enduring Sharlinda’s wrath at the art show it was like ripping a ginormous band-aid off. It stung like hell, but I feel like my fears about showing my art have dwindled just a little bit because nothing could have gone any worse that night. If I ever decide to do an art show again, I’m thinking that anything would be a better experience than that one. I always regret some of the things I say to Meyer in our most heated arguments so that part is an ongoing thing. We argue every hour and then make up ten seconds later.

ME: I do not regret much of anything other than not brushing my hair out after the Halloween party. Instead, I went out with friends after the party, slept with that wild hair, and then came to work the next day with the largest rats nest you have ever seen.
Best Halloween costume ever! " Dead Dolls"

HE: It’s true. It looked like a tornado hit her directly in the head and left nothing behind nothing but a busted bleach blonde mess! ( roaring laughter)  bud, it was even picking up debris like lint and stuff.

ME: I regret the hand slip I had outside of the kickboxing class too. I accidentally had a hand slip out of anger and it landed on bud’s face. I felt bad. She was making me so frustrated and mad though. I do regret it.

BC:Who are you friends with from the show when the camera isn't rolling?

HE: I am very close with both Ashlee and Meagan. I talk to both of them every single day just about. Ash and I will stay up all night talking sometimes. In fact, she was just here last night till 4:30am as we sat around talking about anything and everything in no makeup, messy pajamas, and sipping on bloody mary’s that I made that tasted like sh#t to be honest. It was my first time making one myself. Meagan will come and hang out and even spend the night every now and then. Its really funny actually because while we were filming me, Meyer, and Meagan would all end up in the same bed together on several occasions even though there were always like ten more beds we could of  had to ourselves. ( laughs)  Even with no cameras, we all end up in the same bed together laughing and talking until we fall asleep like the adult kids we are. We all go out to various bars and clubs together too.

BC: I really like watching Ashlee ( Wilson Hawn )  too I think she is fab...it sounds like you are becoming very close...

HE:  We are! Ash and I will talk about everything under the sun and even the most random things and laugh until we are crying. She will bring her dog Winnie over to play with our dogs Milo Wilo and Freck the Wreck and we just relax and talk. She helps me get knotted extensions out every now and then, we make middle of the night fast food runs together, borrow each others things, you know… stuff regular friends do. Meagan and I will go out together and then have days where we hash out business stuff like what we are planning for this, that, and the other. Our house has like a revolving door. We have people in and out non-stop. It’s the meeting place and the gathering spot. Our friends know they are always welcome over here. We have them over ALL the time and love it. Our Glam Squad SAMJAM is over here constantly too because who you see us around on the show are for real special people in our lives. Some of us (cast)have gotten MUCH closer after the show wrapped. For me those people would be Ashlee and Meagan. I like Kahdijiha fine, I just do not ever hear from her much and she seems super busy too. It’s no secret that we had a slight blow out with them while filming and that has carried over into our relationship with she and her family. We get over things pretty quickly though but with everyone being so busy, no big efforts have been made yet on either part to rekindle a solid friendship with them.

Meyer Eadon, Ashlee Wilson Hawn, Harvin Eadon and Meagan

ME: I just kind of go with the flow and down with whatever. We always have people over here and we always talk to Meagan and Ashlee regularly. Bud usually communicate with everyone the most via phone making plans and all that, but I talk to everyone just as much and I’m always along for the ride to do whatever. If  two of our cast members are in an argument for example, one is usually on the phone with Harvand the other one is on the phone with me. Bud and I argue all the time so it’s nothing for us to try and assist in mediating our friends’ squabbles. At the end of the day, we all just like to have a good time. It’s a royal pain in the ass for twitter wars between cast members and arguments over petty stuff to get in the way of trying to all go out together. But it does happen.Kahdijiha and I were closer than she and Harvin were because I spent more time with her in filming than Harvin did because neither of us were fond of Ashlee at first. I’ve gotten to know Ashlee in a totally different light and we get along and have fun together now. I can do that though, I can get over things pretty quickly if you come around, call, and make an effort to be friends. Since Ash and Harvin became much closer after the show, I see more of Ashlee and rarely see Kahdijiha. Not to mention, we never really got closure on the things that went down at the art gallery or thereafter. Even after filming wrapped we were completely caught off guard by some of the things Kahdijiha would say in her blogs and things she would tweet. That caused a further rift between us all. However, I still likeKahdijiha too. Just been a little disappointed in how she handled some things and other comments she made about us that couldn’t be further from the truth. We can handle criticism from anyone without a blink of an eye, but it is hard to see people that you went through this experience with say things that were completely off track. Sometimes we wonder if they think we go around bashing them or something because we def do not. That’s not our thing. But it IS our thing to defend the hell out each other in our family. That’s when you will see us go a little cray on someone. Anyway, I think bud and I both consider ourselves friends with everyone on the cast but the people we see the most are Ash, Meagan, and Marcia (Meagan’s mom).

Meyer Eadon , " Goose", and Harvin Eadon

BC: What are some lessons that you have learned from your mother?

ME: To stay out of arguments, to not cuss so much, to wake up earlier. Shoot, does a lesson mean you have to actually be compliant with the lesson learned or no? Anyway, she has taught us so many things. She has taught us loyalty, she has taught us how it is possible to do a million things at once and be good at doing them, she has shown us the kind of mother that we can only hope like hell we will be one day. Mom is very much a Southern Belle, even if her two daughters are a little more like Southern Hells. Mom has taught us how to believe in ourselves. She has shown us what a completely genuine and loving person is because she is every bit genuine and loving. We have learned that you can make anything happen as long as you put every bit of your heart, soul, energy, and dedication into it. She has taught us that you can be truly happy at any age. She has taught us that when you lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas. She has taught us that God is Kingand that we are his children and while we make more than our fair share of mistakes, He is the end all be all. She has instilled in us a sense of family, nurturing, belonging that is irreplaceable, hence the fact that we just do not want to leave her nest like everrrrr! She is perfect in every way, she never contributes to drama, she is not a gossiper, and she is the most forgiving person I have ever known.

The Eadon sisters with their amazing mother " Goose" Virginia Kolb

HE: Oh my GOD! Really?... Ummm a lot! Goose has taught us so many lessons that it is so hard to single out just one… or even ten. Meyer tod you  most of the same things I would have said as well so I am going to touch on the main thing she has taught me. The first and foremost lesson would be without a doubt her unconditional love. We have been raised in her unconditional love and it is by far the most precious gift I have ever been given in my life. There are no conditions or standards, no mistakes too big, no disappointments too traumatizing, and notragedy to severe that would make our mom ever turn her back on us or not forgive us. Her love for us has no boundaries. It is steady, unwavering, unchanging and undeniable. This alone has been one of the guiding lights in my life. To be loved so unconditionally is the backbone of my life, the example of what the real thing is actually like, and the reason I know the difference. Our mom is our idol. We idolize our father for so many things as well. We have great parents and the lessons we have learned from them are everything to us. Oh, and I have also learned from mom that Meyer and I have a very good chance of having the sexiest legs on the planet at her age. Genetics and all.

BC: What qualities do southern girls have that northern girls do not in your opinion?

HE: Yes mam and yes sir / no mam and no sir and that’s for sureThey are colder more days out of the year than we are. Warm weather seriously makes a difference I don’t care what anyone says. Call me dumb, but I do not want to go out of the house when it’s colder than a polar bears toenails. When it’s warm out I feel like people stroll around and are out and about more without rushing to and fro, makes us more social sometimes. The south tends to have a friendlier air about it. It’s rude in the south not to smile, acknowledge others, etc.

ME: Their accents. We talk way slower and just different. Northern people tend to be a little more blunt than Southern people are.

BC: What do you want your fans to take from the show about who you are?

HE: We aren’t spoiled rotten brats who have lived with a silver spoon in our mouths for our entire lives. We have had major ups and downs. We also work very hard at making our dreams come true despite what it seems like on television. We play around a lot, but that is just who we are. Just because we can goof off and be silly with each other does not mean that we don’t hop right into the grind and hustle our asses off every day for our business. We wouldn’t mind living with or at least close to our mom for forever, that is true. However, we have no intention of ever wanting to have to get money from her every time we need something. That sucks. We are working hard to be successful entrepreneurs with something that we believe in wholeheartedly. We want to be able to take care of our mom one day. We do not want her to have to take care of us for forever, that’s embarrassing.

ME: To be able to laugh at yourself, to be whoyou are no matter who is watching. That we aren’t just two basic brats living off our mom’s wallet at our age. We graduated from college, have successfully held real jobs, and we are lucky enough to have a mom that believes in us enough to invest in our dream. We do work, we just do not take money from the business yet. What comes in has to stay in so we can build She Blames Me.

Meyer Eadon Super Glam Glam !

BC: I love your fashion sense...Describe your style to me...

ME: Unpredictable, noticeable, mood inspired, bold, colorfulwhatever calls my name really. I don’t care about the brand as much as I care about the clothing speaking to me in some way. I want to put it on and look in the mirror and be like yep, this is me today. I am kind of weird though. I hate when things don’t go together. I will not even go to bed in mismatched pajamas. I’m really OCD about that. Harv doesn’t care and that drives me crazy ! Of course, the best brands usually look the best on but I can seriously make an outfit everything I want it to be just by mix matching different pieces. I am not an ensemble off the mannequin at the mall kind of girl. That alone gives me anxiety. We pick and pull our clothes from so many places and do a lot of shopping online.

Fashion Plates

HE: Is it wrong to say that I think this question is like asking me to tack a cloud down to my bulletin board!

BC: Absolutely not! Please elaborate...

The Chameleon of  Style Harvin Eadon

HE: My wardrobe begins with my skin; my style is my decor. I have multiple personalities when it comes to my style. My skin and my style have a relationship. I use style to exaggerate my mood, my feelings, my aspirations, my alter ego, my moments, etc. To give specifics on what I usually lean towards when decorating myself I would have to say my style can go from boho-chic looks, rocker misfit, I stay hooked on a fringe binge, eclectic, tom boyish (i.e. over sized arm hole tops with skinny jeans), hippie inspired, Grecian, and over the top. This does not mean you won’t catch me in a pair of 1990 Hollister jeans or mismatched sweats… my bum look… I’m not scared. ( laughs) Oh and then there’s my robe. I feel like I’m nurturingmyself in my robe. I’m also totally with my sis on the mannequin look thing. I am not real fond of department stores, but I will snag pieces from there every now and then just to couple with something that I already have. We are both far from your conforming cookie cutters. We do what we want.

Meyer modeling jewelry from their line  She Blames Me !

BC: Tell me about your Fabulous Jewelry Line She Blames Me and the cconcept behind it’creation as well as your inspiration...

HE MEShe Blames Me is our anthem, our trophy against criticism, our power over hate. While dedicated to our confused fans, haters, critics, and blamers… don’t get it twisted; it’s still all about me. Because I read between the lines. She doesn’t hate me; she blames me.

The " Ashley"

ME: We are inspired by people that spend time wallowing around in their own negativity, while looking for ways to redirect their own insecurities by lashing out on other people.  Long story short, we gain a lot of our inspiration from bitches that hate us. I say that with love, I swear I do.

Wearing The "Jenny" Harvin Eadon is breaking free from the scrutiny of  undercover haters!

HE: Yea, you have to understand this brand completely before you can truly join its forces. This is not a one-stop-shop to bash every hateron planet earth. That would make us no different than them. It is not about the hater, its what you do with the hate. Where do you put it? How do you use it? She Blames Me is the mantra for all people who yearn to love themselves and believe in themselves in a way that can ricochet hate by using a positive approach to become a hater deactivator. Women especially will pour countless amounts of energy and effort into “getting back” at whoever put them down last or hurt them on some level. Our question is why? Why would you breathe life into the insults, into the critic? That is fuel for the wrong fire. When you become the fuel for their fire, you become the reason they are empowered within their negative approach to people and life. Instead, we believe that we ARE the fire and the critics are our steady fuel. Fuel to build our dreams, work harder, hustle, and prevail. Haters are followers. Jealousy is so often the world’s worst cover up for admiration. Envy can be a monster. It is not a good look. Jealousy fights at ones soul like an army. It seeks vengeance on everyone around you and ultimately ends up being the destruction of your own self. It’s very difficult to combat negativity without the right state of mind. Those that throw stones at you should be the same stones you build yourself up with. Perspective is everything. Haters are motivating and inspiring. Without them, you are doing something wrong. Use them. Put them in your rear view and thank them for following so close behind. But under no circumstances do you ever let them drive your life. Let them push your life from behind while you drive it straight into the direction of your dreams and aspirations.

ME: When building the brand from the beginning, we knew that our greatest inspiration came from the underdogs, the bad apples, the misfits, the mishaps, and the mistake makers.

" The Jayne" available on www.SheBlamesMe.com

HE: Exactly. With all the square pegs trying to stuff themselves into round holes, we desired to create a playground for misfits. A place where you can be whatever you dreamed of being, whatever you aspired to be, and do so without feeling judged or discouraged. We decided to create necklaces in the beginning. Each piece is engraved and has a strong point of view. It’s the trophy you get to wear around any and every day to remind you that… you have already won baby doll. Appreciate the struggle, thank the haters, align your heart and mind with the right perspective, and fall madly in love with yourself. It is then, that you will also be your very best to others. People will gravitate towards you. Be blindingly bright with confidence. Fight for yourself, not them. Fight to be your best and to build your confidence. That is your very best revenge. If your path is to seek vengeance against a hater, then go ahead a dig two graves. Use what haters throw at you and burn brighter, hustle harder, and go further.

" When you start believing in yourself...freedom truly reigns " Harvin Eadon

BC: Where do you see yourselves going with your line in the future?

ME: Everywhere!

HE ME: ( both laughing ) Really  though, she’s right. We want to expand the brand tremendously. We are mood boarding and concept planning every day for our next collection. We want to still provide jewelry, but also provide some lower dollar items such as quality and trendy tops that are also well endowed with the She Blames Me perspective and lifestyle. Eventually, we will stride further into having our own She Blames Me clothing line designed by us as well. We have so much international interest that we are also looking forward to She Blames Me having an international voice and reach. Soon, we hope to get She Blames Me into some specific online retail stores that we adore as well as our favorite hand picked boutiques. SWANK, our favorite store in Atlanta will be carrying the line soon. That’s the thing with She Blames Me. We are very picky about where this brand is sold and who can best represent the brand’s voice based on aesthetic, demographic, etc. It is important to us that She Blames Me finds a “map quest” route to the people it really speaks to. Those who can really embrace it in a way that we have and so many others are beginning to. Branding is HUGE for us. We do not want to put a shred of anything out there that does not reflect who and what this brand is all about. It’s a lifestyle that we want others to take hold of and know that they belong because SBM promotes empowerment, freedom to be yourself, courage to love yourself despite criticism, and then taking every insult as a means to compliment yourself via inspiration, drive and motivation.

BC: Any other projects or news that can share with my readers?

HE ME: Once we get our first round of production completely sold (which is getting closer by the second) we want to align ourselves with a charitable organization that we are passionate about. We want to join forces with a new friend to create something that will go towards the rescue and adoption of animals as well as humane treatment of animals, etc. We have not nailed down the specifics of which organization(s) we will be teaming up with yet, but we are in talks about it now and planning for something pretty awesome. To give you a little sneak peek… just think of dogs, our love for dogs, our love for She Blames Me and for those that are mistreated and just imagine a little something called “Bitches Blame Me” where proceeds would go towards animal rights and rescue organizations. There just might be a piece that we design for dogs (bitch being the origin of the word female dog) that just might find itself a place under the She Blames Me brand. ;) To be continued…

BC: Thank you so much! It was great talking with you gals and you have definitely inspired me with your positive message! I look forward to all your endeavors and hope you will keep me updated!

HE ME: Thank you! Of course! We had a fun time sharing our story with you and look forward to you sharing it with your readers!

" Don't blame me"  but in my opinion the Eadon sisters have what it takes to be successful and are definitely going places that will keep people interested and wanting to follow:)!
I predict great things for these two creative and fabulous beauties and  I am sure we will be hearing ( and seeing ) a lot more to come from these self proclaimed  '"Blondentrepreneurs" in the future ...and that's the way I see it !

The Real Housewives Of Orange County Return For An Eighth Season on Bravo TV!

The Real Housewives Of  Orange County premiered  tonight on Bravo TV for an eighth season!
Returning to the show are  " The OG of  The OC"  Vicki Gunvalson,  Gretchen Rossi, Tamra Barney, Heather Dubrow , and despite rumors last year  that she  wasn't returning,  Alexis Bellino has  made a comeback as well. New to the cast this season is Lydia McLaughlin and we also see the return of another Orange County veteran Lauri Peterson. I will be recapping the show live weekly Wed 11am EST with Gina Cutillo,  the star and host of  The Gina Show, on www.inravio.com ( Internet TV and radio )  on a segment called Reality Reel.

The show picked right up after last year's  explosive season seven  reunion where we saw relationships take a turn for the worst and new ones begin. It will be interesting to see how season eight plays out. Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney, who used to be the best of  friends, had a falling out last season and their relationship at this point is in the same place...non existent. Alexis Bellino, who came on the show originally as a very close friend of Gretchen Rossi, also had a falling out with Tamra Barney.
Alexis suffered a troubled friendship  with  Heather Dubrow and Gretchen as well  last season and we see that carrying over into the new show. Heather Dubrow makes it clear right out of the gate that she is not a friend of Alexis Bellino's by saying so and not inviting her to a clam bake at her house where she has invited all the other ladies.

Heather Dubrow returns for  her second season of RHOC

Vicki Gunvalson and Alexis Bellino have formed a new friendship which is interesting because when Alexis was new to to the show Vicki gave her a hard time ...she has since apologized and realized they had more in common than she originally thought.

Off camera BFFs Tamra Barney and Gretchen Rossi

Tamra Barney and Gretchen Rossi have become close friends despite the public and relentless media attacks that Tamra launched on Gretchen  trying  to defame her prior to season seven airing. I find it incredibly  confusing that Gretchen forgave such craziness regarding Tamra  but can not move forward with Alexis ( who did seemingly  nothing in comparison )  and who also had her back during that time. I guess we will have to wait until I release my interview with Alexis Bellino to see where their friendship lies now. Along with co owning and opening  a gym... Tamra  and Eddie Judge , her fiancee, have moved in together after Tamra's divorce from Simon and we already hear Tamra calling him controlling in her first interview about their relationship.
Vicky Gunvalso, Briana, and baby Troy!

Briana, Vicki's daughter, gives birth  to a new baby boy named Troy and Vicki couldn't be more thrilled!
We also see that Vicki Gunvalson has had some minor work done ( I think she looks great!) to feel better about herself  after feeling insecure with comments made by viewers of the show and by Slade Smiley, Gretchen Rossi's boyfriend.  Alexis Bellino also debuts a new look which is a shorter hair style sans extensions which I found to be fresh and make a statement in and of itself. Alexis is back and her confidence is showing!

Alexis Bellino and her Fab new hairstyle!
The " OG  of The OC" Vicki Gunvalson

Alexis has purchased a new home with her husband Jim Bellino and things she tells us things are going great!
In an interview Vicki announces that she is no longer seeing her former  boyfriend, Brook Ayers, with whom she was smitten with last season . Previews of the upcoming season as well as Vicki herself on tonight's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen had another story...stay tuned.

Lydia McLaughlin and her beautiful family!

Lydia McLaughlin, owner of Lydia M Jewelry, is  the newest cast member to The OC ,  we will find out that she is also a  friend of Alexis Bellino's ( we have yet to meet her at this point ) . Lauri Peterson, who is no stranger to Reality TV and The OC,  will return to stir things up with the ladies...Vicki Gunvalson in particular. Gretchen and Slade are still going strong as is Gretchen's fashion line " Gretchen Christine" . Slade Smiley is now a radio personality and no longer Gretchen's " honorary assistant" so that will be interesting to see what is in store for them.

Season 8 ski trip with the ladies!

Overall I was happy with tonight's season opener but disappointed to find out that the same
" Mean girls" routine and attitudes were in effect  amongst certain cast members. Judging by  the Bravo TV  previews we are promised an action packed and drama filled season notorious to The Real Housewives Of Orange County  further solidifying the fact  that The OC still has what is takes to be the longest running Bravo TV Housewives franchise and that is the way I see it ! BCNY Music Spotlight : Ramona

The Fabulous Songstress Ramona

Ramona  is a singer/songwriter hailing from Queens NY. Ramona's music  has a very soulful sound and I feel there is a raw passion to her music. In my opinion you can tell she deeply feels the songs that she writes and that is apparent while you are listening. I met Ramona a little over a year ago after her song " Love Under The Sun" had already been released. Ramona not only wrote and sang the song....she produced it as well!
She is currently back and forth to the studio working hard on her new EP titled " Rooting For The Underdog",  holding down a FT job, and living a busy life which includes traveling. Ramona captures you with her music reminiscent of the ways of  such other great R and B divas like Sade,  Chaka Khan , Jill Scott , and Angie Stone. I wanted to share her musical talent with you all because I believe in her ability to transcend all limitations, reach many different demographics, and  ultimately touch her listeners where it counts...in their heart... and that's the way I see it Xx Billy Charles

BC: Where did you grow up?
R: I grew up in South Jamaica, Queens and Long Island, NY

BC: What's your nationality?
R I am of mixed Caribbean ethnicity,  translation...I am a mutt! ( both laugh)

BC:  At what age did you start becoming  interested in music?
R: I would say I became interested in music at the age of four. I can thank a close relative for buying me  my first toy microphone back then because that is what fueled my creative/musical journey thus far.

BC:  When did you decide you would pursue music as a career?
R: Music, pretty much decided for me, as odd as that sounds. So at 19 years old I was hired as a wedding/corporate singer and in the same year realized that I was meant to be an independent singer/songwriter.
BC: Was your family supportive?
R: Yes.

BC: Who are your musical inspirations?
R: I have way too many musical inspirations but they range from Bach and Chopin to Stevie Wonder to Chaka Khan to Led Zepplin to Nas to Lauryn Hill !

BC: If you could...who would you love to work with one day ?
R: I would LOVE to work with Jeff Bhasker, the man is a genius, he has produced and/or written for Beyonce and Alicia Keys, to name a few. I would also love to write for a variety of singers and bands but that would be a scroll.  I would love to duet with Jill Scott, that would give me life!
BC: Yes Child! Giving Me life! That's my favorite saying! ( both laugh) .

BC: Describe your sound to me...
R: My vocal sound is rich, full toned alto, and I sing with purpose.  My musical sound is eclectic and soulful.

" Love Under The Sun" by Ramona Spot Is available on itunes for purchase here:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/ramona/id492453909

BC: Tell me about your song " Love Under The Sun"...what or who were you inspired by?
R: I wrote "Love Under The Sun" while I was at work, it was raining outside, in the moment feeling quite romantic, and for some reason a scene from the movie "Jason's Lyric" popped in my mind...the rest is history!
BC: What music/projects are you working on currently?
R: Right now I am in the process of recording my EP, "Rooting For The Underdog"

Ramona  :  Rooting For The The Underdog

R: I have been in the studio recording my third piece entitled "When I Close My Eyes"...I'm so excited to share it with you all soon.

BC:  I can't wait! When can we expect a new song available for purchase?
R: My upcoming single "Naked", an acoustic ballad, is slated for release in June of this year on all major mp3 distributors.

BC  What do you want fans to know about who Ramona Spot is?
R:  Ramona is a young woman who has experienced many things, good and bad, and I share my music as a way to relate and connect with people. Writing music is my therapy, singing IS my release.  My music is what gels the whole story together. I work full time, and do the best I can with whatever resources I have, regardless of the limitations and I intend on writing songs for the rest of my life.

BC: Thank you for sharing your talent with my readers! I am excited for your new music and I hope you will come back to www. BillyCharlesNY.com when  your new song is released!
R: Thank you as well for the opportunity and that's a guarantee sweets! ( both laugh).

Mangia! In The Kitchen With Billy Charles NY " Chicken Riggies "

Welcome back and hello to all my  friends and followers of Mangia! In The Kitchen With Billy Charles NY.
This is my second personal cooking blog and I look forward to many more as the  first recipe that I shared,
" Spinach Frittata" , received such a great response. You can read all about it here on my site in the archives! This time I have decided to share an "Upstate NY Italian Classic " and my favorite dish to eat and make with you all..." Chicken Riggies".
As I travel and talk with friends from all over the country I find it interesting that many of them have not heard of this dish but trust me  once they do,  and they make it,  this dish becomes their favorite as well!
Its' a great Italian dish to share with friends and family and it really is a filling meal. The recipe I am sharing with you will be enough to make two pounds ( maybe a little more ) of  Chicken Riggies! This dish can be tailored to suit all palates and you can make it from mild to very hot depending on the pepper rings that you choose. I prefer mine hot and spicy so I usually make mine with cherry peppers although my hubby like his on the mild side. This time I am making them in between! The longer you simmer the finished sauce and fry the heavy cream and pepper juice will also determine the heat factor as it all ferments. This sauce will last about a good week in the refrigerator and I recommend making the macaroni fresh each time you use it.
I hope you enjoy making these as much as I do and enjoy eating it as well and as always I love to hear from you and appreciate your feedback!
  Mangia! Xx Billy Charles

This dish will take about 45 minutes to prepare ( depending on how fast or slow you are ) and you can cook the finished sauce as long or as little as you want. I make mine ahead and simmer until I make the macaroni when guests arrive !
This dish will feed A LOT of people...

You can use from Mild to Hot pepper rings  and even cherry peppers which they are traditionally made with!

What you will need from your grocery store:

2 1lb cans of  "Delmonte Four Cheese Sauce " ( this is a short cut you can very well use your own homemade red sauce if you have that kind of time...I do not lol )
A three pack of  red, orange, and yellow peppers.
3 Large Green Peppers
A medium or large white onion
1 quart of heavy whipping cream
Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb slat free seasoning
Salt
Peppers
Cooking Oil
Butter ( I use country crock myself)
A jar of your choice of sliced peppers rings in juice ( you will use juice too)
3 lbs of boneless and skinless chicken breast
Two pounds of Rigatoni

Tools you will need:
A large cutting knife for the chicken breast
A cutting board
A spatula
A cooking spoon
A large skillet/frying pan
A colander
A Kettle for the sauce
A separate Kettle for the macaroni to boil in

Step One:

Open your sauce cans and pour them into a kettle.( My Grandpa is rolling over in his grave as they say)  Make sure that you pass a 1/2 cup of water between the two cans and add as well not wasting any!
My mother always did that growing up and I have also picked it up! Put the sauce on the back burner on low or simmer.

Step Two:

Clean your chicken breast, trim any fat, and cut into " Bite size pieces " making sure that they are uniform in size. I do not like to skimp on the chicken and like there to be a lot for everyone which is why I use 3 lbs. My favorite brand is Perdue Boneless/ Skinless chicken breast as it is always consistent in my opinion. As always use what makes you happy!

Step Three:

Fry your chicken up using a couple table spoons of butter on a high setting. My frying pan is big enough for all the chicken and if yours is not you may end up having to do  two batches! About half way through cooking when it is white on one side begin to season it up good with your Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb as this is the only seasoning you will be using ( a tip that i received from my sister and it makes our stand out from the rest ). Make sure that you flip the chicken breast chunks and it is white on both sides. Don't worry about cooking it too thoroughly as it will finish cooking when you add it to the sauce that is simmering.

Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb is an amazing seasoning!

Step Four:

Add the finished fried chicken chunks to the sauce that you have on the burner and stir distributing the chicken evenly.

Step Five:

Remove your pan from the stove and rinse and wipe it as you will be using it again! Clean and gut your peppers in cool water being sure to remove all the seeds. You will want to cut these into bite size pieces ( I tear them with my hands ) and also do the same with your onion . I mix mine all together in the colander and after rinsing. You then want to add a few table spoons of cooking oil to your frying pan and get it nice and hot . Once it is ready add the peppers onions and frying them up using salt and pepper to taste.

Step Six:

When they are on the softer side and no longer crisp add the peppers to your red sauce with the chicken and stir.

If you could smell this!

Step 7:

Strain your pepper rings being sure to save the juice from the jar. You can now add them to the already hot frying pan and fry them up. Once they are on the slightly crisp side you can add your pepper juice and heavy cream to the frying pan bringing it to a biol and then reducing it.

Step 8:

Once the mixture of  heavy cream, pepper rings, and pepper juice is good an fermented you can add that to your red sauce which has been simmering with the chicken and peppers and the sauce is finished!

Scrumptious!

Step 9:

Prepare and boil your Rigatoni as per instructions on the bag or box. When the macaroni  is done boiling,  and is cooked how you prefer, strain it in the sink and return it to the kettle.
I then take a ladle and evenly distribute enough sauce, peppers, and chicken evenly to cover the rigatoni  as I am mixing it with a spatula. All there is to do now is eat ( Mangia ) and enjoy!

" Upstate NY Italian Classic : Chicken Riggies "

Fun fact :
I have made trays of these for friends and parties and they are always the first food to disappear!

Thank you for taking time to read my blog!  I hope you decide to  make this wonderful and delicious
" Upstate NY Italian Classic " and share it with your family and friends!
