Christopher Gialanella Gets Stark Naked For A Great Cause!

Chris Gialanella before "Stark Naked" training and after! 

Stark Training in Irvine CA chose seven willing clients who were up for the challenge of training hard, dieting perfectly and following a “show-prep-like” process, rending every bit of fat possible from their bodies over a six-month period. At the end of this time frame the clients were photographed STARK NAKED—well almost naked. Whoever receives the most votes at the end of two weeks, Stark will make a contribution of five hundred dollars to the charity of their choice. Chris chose Pitt Hopkins because it is a charity that hits close to home for him. This was a great opportunity for him to get in great shape and also  give back to a little friend of his , Calvin Lapidus. Calvin, was diagnosed with Pitt Hopkins, a mutation in the 18th chromosome characterized by physical delays, mental retardation and lack of speech. It has been a tough time, obviously, but now that his family finally know the diagnosis at least they have a specific goal: To find a cure for Pitt Hopkins. Help Chris and the Lapidus family find a cure for Calvin and other kids with Pitt Hopkins as well as other genetic syndromes. Chris Gialanella, born in Livingston, New Jersey in 1970, started his successful career by interning for his local Washington D.C. congressman on capital hill after attending University of Wisconsin - Madison. Following interning for the congressman, Chris moved to New York City where he worked for PiMS, a company that distributes marketing materials for PR and advertising firms. He was then transferred in 1994 to work for their Los Angeles office for six years. In 2001, he found his passion in the publishing business while working for titles such as “Angeleno” and “Front Desk.” Through his dedication and hard work, Chris was promoted to take over for Riviera Orange County in 2008 and was given the opportunity to publish its sister magazine, Riviera San Diego, for a brief period. Not only was Chris on the board for Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, but he was also voted “Sexiest OC Executive” by OC Executive magazine in 2012.

Chris currently publishes for four magazines (www.modernluxury.com) in Orange County: “Riviera Orange County,” “Riviera Interiors,” “California Brides,” and “Modern Luxury Charity Date Book Orange County.” Chris is very proud of his team and the hard work they do to publish an amazing magazine, run fabulous events, and cover some of the most colorful people and places in Orange County.

Chris Gialanella wins best male dancer! 

Most recently. Chris won the title of "best male dancer" for the Assistance League of Newport Mesa's "Dancing for Tomorrow's Stars" (Www.alnm.org) Another familiar face at this event was Real Housewives of Orange County's favorite plastic surgeon, Dr Terry Dubrow! Terry was one of three judges who got Chris the big win! Chris danced a fox trot to Gene Kelly's "Singing in the Rain" and a west coast swing to Big Bad Voodoo daddy's "You and me and a bottle makes three"! So Chris is no stranger to helping out charities!

Chris is married to Andrea Liss Gialanella, who is a well respected Psychiatric Social worker for The Los Angeles Unified School District and also has a little son named Luke who eats, breathes , and sleeps NASCAR racing!

The Way I See It...Chris Gialanella is a great guy with a good heart! Chris knows how to balance work, 

play , and family while always finding the time to give back. Chris Gialanella knows that when you help others you are also helping your self!
